The 2022-2023 NBA season continues on Tuesday, November 15th, with ten teams scheduled to take the court. Let's take a look at three strong team bets for tonight's action, featuring the Brooklyn Nets, New York Knicks, and Los Angeles Clippers.

NBA Best Team Bet #1: Brooklyn Nets ML (+100)

The Brooklyn Nets have struggled to a 6-8 record to begin the season. Since firing Steve Nash and naming Jacque Vaughn as head coach, the Nets have improved. They are 4-3 under Vaughn. The main reason for that improvement has been their defensive turnaround.

After giving up 120.3 points per game under Nash, they have allowed 97.1 points per game under Vaughn. While their points allowed per game under Nash would be the worst in the NBA, their total under Vaughn would be the best mark in the league.

While their opponents, the 6-6 Sacramento Kings, have an offense that ranks sixth in points per game and seventh in offense rating, their defense ranks 24th in opponents points per game and 27th in defensive rating. Expect Brooklyn to pull off an upset and win this contest outright, despite entering as road underdogs.

NBA Best Team Bet #2: New York Knicks Over 113.5 Points (-120)

The New York Knicks are 6-7 to start the season. Their struggles, however, can largely be pinned on a defense that ranks 25th in opponents points per game and 24th in defensive rating. Their offense currently ranks 12th in points per game, averaging 114.7 points per game, and 18th in offensive rating.

The Knicks' opponent, the Utah Jazz, has been one of the biggest surprises in the NBA thus far. Utah is currently 10-5 on the heels of a top-five offense. The Jazz defense has not been bad either, currently ranking 14th in opponents points per game and tenth in defensive rating. Utah, however, has allowed 112.7 points per game.

The Jazz have allowed their opponents to score at least 114 points in nine of 15 games. Expect the Knicks to become the tenth team to score at least 114 points against Utah's defense.

NBA Best Team Bet #3: Los Angeles Clippers +7 (-110)

Picked by many to win the championship, the 8-6 Los Angeles Clippers have been one of the biggest disappointments thus far. They have arguably been the NBA's worst offense, ranking 30th in points per game and 29th in offensive rating. Their defense, however, has been a top-five unit, ranking fourth in opponents points per game and second in defensive rating.

While the Clippers opponents, the Dallas Mavericks, have been strong defensively, ranking fifth in opponents points per game and ninth in defensive rating, they too have struggled on offense. Dallas ranks 20th in points per game, although they do rank ninth in offensive rating. While the Clippers may not win this contest, they should at least be able to keep it competitive. Look for the Clippers to lose by no more than six points.
