On April 22, 2024, Netflix officially confirmed the star-studded cast lineup for the upcoming suspense thriller film, Wall to Wall. The lead trio for the series includes Kang Han-neul, Yeom Hye-ran, and Seo Hyun-woo. The American streaming service confirmed the news through their social media handle @netflixkcontent on Instagram.

Netflix captioned the Instagram post:

"Imagine barely scraping together enough money to buy an 84-square-meter apartment only to realize you must now deal with a noisy neighbor. Kang Ha-neul (When the Camellia Blooms), Yeom Hae-ran (The Glory) and Seo Hyun-woo (My Name Is Loh Kiwan) lead a star-studded ensemble in the suspense thriller Wall to Wall, only on Netflix."

Also known as 84 Square Meters or 84Gegobmeter, the upcoming thriller film will be helmed and penned by director Kim Tae-joon, known for projects like Unlocked, released on Netflix.

Wall to Wall depicts the story of an ordinary office worker who has fulfilled his long-time dream of purchasing his own home: an 84-square-meter flat. However, his happiness vanishes as he faces troubles at the new flat and becomes frustrated.

Kang Ha-neul will chronicle the role of a 30-year-old officer worker named Woo-seong, who has finally fulfilled his dream of purchasing an apartment for himself. Woo-seong has worked throughout his life to save money for his dream. Some of the things he has done includes investing money in stocks and savings, taking out loans, and working at his mother's garlic field.

However, even after purchasing his apartment, he goes through a series of troubles, including paying off the interest on his loan. He also has to deal with stress and mental issues when he gets into unwanted conflicts with his neighbors, who make noise every night, disturbing his sleep cycle.

Kang Ha-neul is a 34-year-old actor born on February 21, 1990, in Busan, South Korea. The actor started his career at a young age and made his first breakthrough with the television show My Mom, Supermom, in 2007. He also bagged the prestigious 56th Baeksang Arts Awards for Best Actor for his character in When The Camelia Blooms.

Ha-neul is known for his roles in many dramas, including Misaeng: Incomplete Life, Insider, and Curtain Call, and recently made a guest appearance in The Kidnapping Day. The actor is also expected to appear in the highly-anticipated Squid Game season 2.

Seo Hyun-woo will portray the character of Jin-ho, who will team up with Woo-seong in their search for the origin of the noises in the building. Jin-ho's apartment lies above Woo-seong's flat, and soon, the two form a good bond.

40-year-old veteran actor Seo Hyun-woo was born on November 20, 1993, in Busan, South Korea. He has been active in the entertainment industry since 2010, under the Just Entertainment agency. The actor is well-known for his roles in SF8, Taxi Driver, Veteran, White, The Royal Gambler, and others.

He recently appeared as a supporting character in A Shop for Killers and My Name is Loh Kiwan, and is now gearing up for his upcoming dramas, including Uncle Samsik and Not Very Powerful, but Attractive.

Meanwhile, veteran actress Yeom Hye-ran will chronicle the character of Eun-hwa, the representative of the apartment complex where Woo-seong and Jin-ho reside. With her leadership qualities, she tries to maintain peace and discipline in the building. However, she soon gets involved with Woo-seong and Jin-ho as they try to find the origin of the disturbance caused by the noises in Wall to Wall.

Yeom Hye-ran is a 47-year-old veteran female actress born on October 30, 1976, in Yeosu, South Jeolla Province, South Korea. After debuting in 2003, she appeared in numerous films and dramas and became one of the most familiar faces in the K-drama community.

She is known for Dear My Friends, I Can Speak, When the Camelia Blooms, Life, and Innocent Witness, and rose to international stardom with her lead role in The Uncanny Counter and The Glory.

She will appear in the upcoming drama, When Life Gives You Tangerines.


Wall to Wall, featuring Kang Ha-nuel, Yeom Hye-ran, and Seo Hyun-woo will reportedly be released in 2025.
