Here are a few interesting observations from this week's edition of Monday Night RAW (Feb. 11)

This week's edition of WWE Monday Night RAW (11th February 2019) saw a lot of contrasting moments. Right from Vince McMahon suspending Becky Lynch well beyond WrestleMania 35 to Seth Rollins vying to 'sell his soul' in order to defeat Brock Lesnar, last night's episode had it all.

Regardless of the big reveal that built up till the end, the show was quite flawed. As a matter of fact, the big reveal itself has many fans split into both sides of the equation. Let us know what you thought about last night's episode in the comments section below.

With Elimination Chamber taking place this Sunday, let us take a look at some interesting observations from last night's episode of Monday Night RAW...

#3 Weird Segues

Why were there so many abrupt transitions last night?
Why were there so many abrupt transitions last night?

Unknowingly, WWE might have made a technical blunder on RAW last night. But then again, most of the abrupt transitions that occurred throughout the show could be intentional as well.

Bayley and Sasha Banks came out before we could even properly jump from the Becky-Authority segment to the next. Elias got interrupted way too many times, even if that was inserted solely for comedic purposes. Dean Ambrose came out just after Paul Heyman received Seth Rollins' message loud and clear.

Ambrose instructed his former Shield-brother to slay the beast at WrestleMania, and one can't help but summarise that this sudden change in The Lunatic Fringe's character might be due to the production team trying to quickly transition from segment-to-segment for some particular reason.

Perhaps they wanted to make up time for the RAW Tag Team Championship match and the final segment of the night itself. But you never know what drove the production team to opt for this route. What do you think?

#2 Kevin Owens might return as a babyface

Kevin Owens will return soon
Kevin Owens will return soon

Last night, we saw a video consisting of Kevin Owens teasing his in-ring return to WWE. Only one more month to go until that happens. Nevertheless, it is still not clear as to whether he will be returning to RAW or SmackDown Live.

What struck everyone's eye was the homely nature of the video, its grainy appearance as well as the fact that Owens was enjoying with his family at the time. This could very well indicate that Kevin Owens might be returning as a babyface.

Will Owens return with Sami Zayn? There are chances of that happening, however, Owens teased a solo return last night, as evidenced by the statement that he could solely execute what other Superstars are doing right now, but better.

Do you want Kevin Owens to return as a heel or babyface? Leave your thoughts in the comments section below. Should Owens and Zayn return together, reunited?

#1 The Becky Lynch storyline just got even more interesting, for better or for worse

Vince McMahon has suspended Becky Lynch way beyond WrestleMania 35
Vince McMahon has suspended Becky Lynch way beyond WrestleMania 35

Here is what separates Stone Cold Steve Austin and Becky Lynch as characters: Stone Cold Steve Austin wouldn't have apologized to the Authority last night. He would have just flipped them off even if that means his situation would become even worse in the future. It doesn't make a lot of sense, but it is very entertaining and WWE is all about entertainment.

By apologizing, Becky Lynch made the more sensible choice, but it still didn't do her any favors. Vince McMahon has suspended her for a long time, just because Becky doesn't stay in line, even though she DID stay in line by apologizing. The latter half is what does not make any sense.

Of course, there has to be more conflict in Becky Lynch's path before WrestleMania itself, but the only way last night's events could be explained is that Vince McMahon acted alone here. The look on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon's face (off camera) supports this theory.

The most likely scenario here is that Becky Lynch will indeed wrestle for the RAW Women's Championship at WrestleMania 35, either by eliminating Charlotte Flair on the Road To WrestleMania (around Fastlane) or by participating in a Triple Threat match at the Grandest Stage of Them All.

Would you like to see a Triple Threat Match between Charlotte Flair, Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 35, or should Charlotte Flair stay out of this scenario completely?
