Everyone loves a good rumor right? Something to talk about over a water cooler.

In WWE, everything moves so fast. Not just the Superstars in the ring, but all the latest news and rumors that reach the public every single day.

The Royal Rumble pay per view, is less than a week away, and is the perfect place to make a name for themselves, with Superstars quicky announcing their intentions to win either the men's or women's match.

And with a ton of title matches also announced, the pay per view is shaping up to be can't-miss.

Here are five rumors from wrestling from this week that you really need to know.

Note: Please remember that every rumor presented here are just that, rumors, just to have fun with. Whilst some may seem more likely than others, please take all of them with a grain of salt.

#5 SmackDown star warns against signing

Andrade has also undergone a name change recently.
Andrade has also undergone a name change recently.

As a former NXT Champion, Andrade has had an incredible time in WWE.

Whilst he may have lost the ''Cien' Almas' from his name, the SmackDown Live Superstar has dazzled fans in recent weeks, including a truly incredible match against Rey Mysterio.

Rumored to be receiving a huge push in 2019, fans are wondering whether this push will be affected by the recent rumors.

According to the Observer, Andrade warned Rush and Dragon Lee not to sign with the company, saying "it’s not all it’s cracked up to be."

If true, the advice clearly worked, as the pair have signed with Ring of Honor instead, though if it is true, expect Andrade's push on SmackDown Live to come to a very quick, abrupt end, which could not come at a worse time for the Superstar.

#4 When will the Prizefighter return?

Owens is a former NXT, Intercontinental, United States and WWE Universal Champion.

The unfortunate injury of Kevin Owens has left a clear gap on the RAW roster.

A former NXT, Intercontinental, United States, and Universal Champion, Owens has impressed in his short time with the company, though he has been absent for months ever since suffering an injury on RAW.

And whilst the company have been airing vignettes of the Prizefighter (along with vignettes for friend/nemesis Sami Zayn) in recent weeks, hinting at an imminent return, this reportedly is not going to be happening soon.

According to the Wrestling Observer, Owens will not be brought back to television until after WrestleMania 35.

This obviously would negate all rumors of the Canadian making a shocking return in the Men's Royal Rumble match and comes as a real blow to all fans of the former Universal champion.

#3 Love Hurts

Mike and Maria Kanellis came to WWE together in 2017.
Mike and Maria Kanellis came to WWE together in 2017.

The career of Mike Kanellis in WWE hasn't exactly been plain sailing.

Debuting at the 2017 Money in the Bank pay per view, Kanellis was joined by his wife Maria and was a hot signing from Impact.

Since then though, the two have been barely featured, with Mike's substance abuse problems (which he has fortunately overcome), being a factor behind the pair's hiatus.

According to the PWInsider, Mike requested their release weeks ago, but it was denied.

Whilst Maria Kanellis has denied these rumors on several occasions, it's clear that the pair hasn't been used much, and are reportedly just two of a list of unhappy Superstars.

Responding to this, the Insider has said that the WWE are now talking to Superstars with impending releases this year, in an effort to get as many as possible to re-sign.

#2 NXT Callups

Six of NXT's most popular Superstars will join the main roster at some point in 2019.
Six of NXT's most popular Superstars will join the main roster at some point in 2019.

On the Christmas Eve edition of RAW, the WWE Universe got a very special treat, when a handful of NXT Superstars were promised to be joining the main roster soon.

And whilst Nikki Cross got a chance to step into the ring on last week's RAW, most, including Lacey Evans and EC3, have been resigned to backstage segments, often watching those in the ring.

According to the Observer, this has been done as Vince McMahon wants fans to get to know the upcoming graduates, whilst the creative team figures out what to do.

It does seem strange that WWE may not know what they will do with these Superstars, but still want them on TV.

Hopefully, the WWE figures out what exactly they're going to do with these graduates, sooner rather than later.

#1 Sullivan to come up when ready

Sullivan is one of the NXT graduates coming to the main roster.

Speaking of NXT graduates, one big star that has certainly been making headlines for himself is Lars Sullivan.

Impressing in NXT, Sullivan has had fans speculating on whether he wishes to sign with RAW or SmackDown Live but may join neither for the time being.

According to the Observer, Sullivan will be called up when he feels he is ready, after the heavyweight reportedly suffered an anxiety attack recently, possibly due to the stress of moving up to the main roster.

If both rumors are true, this is a really good move from WWE, who are allowing Sullivan to go at his own pace, rather than suffer another attack.

Hopefully, Lars will feel right at home when he comes to the main roster and could be a part of the men's Rumble match.
