Batista confirmed for upcoming James Bond movie, full cast revealed

Dave Batista to star in James Bond movie

WWE superstar Batista will be appearing in the next James Bond movie which will be the 24th movie of the franchise.

The movie titled Spectre marks the return of Ernst Stavro Blofeld, Bond’s arch-nemesis, and as the title suggests, the story revolves around the global terrorist organization run by Ernst. The character of Ernst returns to the franchise after it last appeared in the Roger Moore era.

Director Sam Mendes revealed the name of the movie and its cast on Wednesday morning at Pinewood Studios. Daniel Craig will reprise his role as Bond while Italian actress Monica Bellucci is set to feature as one of the Bond Girls.

Two-time Academy Award-winner Christoph Waltz also joins the cast and speculations suggested that he would take on the role of Blofeld. However it has been confirmed that Waltz will play the character Oberhauser, Bond’s skiing instructor. And WWE’s Dave Batista, who played Drax The Destroyer in Marvel’s box office hit Guardians of the Galaxy, will be starring as Hinx who is a new villain in the franchise.
