According to PWInsider, WWE superstar CM Punk could be considering an early retirement from the sport after spending a decade in various promotions.
The 35 year old wrestler has been struggling with many injuries and tweeted last week that he had his ribs busted on SmackDown. Punk is enjoying a stay on top of the mountain at the moment but he earlier revealed that he wouldn’t want to overstay in the business.
He has a number of interests outside wrestling and could pad his bank account for the next two decade by simply attending comic book and wrestling conventions.
The Straight edge superstar began his career by touring independent promotions during 2000 and had brief stints at TNA and ROH before joining the WWE. If the news turns out to be true, it will be a big blow for WWE as they are already going through a torrid condition.
