Kana talks signing with the WWE, realtionship with Triple H, Bayley and more

Kana has more than ten years experience in the business

The WWE recently announced the signing of Kana, who is a very talented Diva from Japan. She is a huge draw there and is known for her stiff grappling that includes a host of kicks and holds.

She opened up about her signing, her relationship with Triple H and more in a recent interview. Below are the highlights:

On why is this the right time in her career to make this decision of joining the WWE

Kana thinks it was about time she got a shot in the largest promotion in the world as she has been developing her craft for ten years now. “ I have been in this business for 10 years and have accomplished almost everything there is to accomplish. I was looking for a new challenge and when the opportunity came up with WWE, the timing just felt right,” says Kana.

On her relationship with Triple H and hoe does he see her fitting into the mould of the WWE

Kana rates Triple H as her favourite WWE superstar of all time and says, “ It has been amazing to interact with him and get his feedback. He told me he was expecting a lot from me, and I want to make him proud.”

On which Diva she wants to work with the most in the NXT and why

Her obvious answer was the lovable and NXT Women's Champion Bayley as she was impressed by what she say at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn.

“After witnessing Bayley win the NXT Divas Championship at NXT: TakeOver in Brooklyn, I knew she was somebody I would want to compete with. I want to be Divas Champion, so she is an obvious answer. I also have a tremendous amount of respect for Charlotte, and would love to get in the ring with her eventually also,” says the new NXT recruit.

It seems Kana would be a welcome addition to an already impressive roster at NXT and she would not have to wait in line much because of her obvious experience around the world. Her in-ring ability is top notch and it would be her mic skills and her connectivity with the fans that would be tested the most. But with the competent training team at the developmental, the future is secure for this promising Diva.
