Some WWE employees remain with the company for several decades

Many people associated with WWE spend almost their entire careers with the company. One of the company's current longest-serving employees, Charles Robinson, recently opened up about his future as a referee.

Robinson, also known as Little Naitch due to his resemblance to wrestling icon Ric Flair, joined WWE in 2001. The 59-year-old recently refereed Cody Rhodes' victory over Roman Reigns on the Night Two of WrestleMania XL.

Sportskeeda Wrestling Senior Editor Bill Apter told Robinson that he plans to continue reporting until he is lying under a ring dead. The official responded by revealing he has the same mindset when it comes to being a referee:

"That's exactly my answer too," Robinson said. "As long as they'll let me do it, I'm gonna do it. It's the only business that I would wanna do." [From 05:03 – 05:11]

Charles Robinson's WCW and WWE career highlights

Between 1995 and 1997, Charles Robinson refereed for the Pro Wrestling Federation. He then began working for WCW, where he is best remembered for portraying a villainous referee to help his hero Ric Flair.

In 2001, Vince McMahon obtained the contracts of several WCW wrestlers and officials, including Robinson. The referee went on to officiate dozens of high-profile matches, most notably Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels' retirements at WrestleMania 24 and WrestleMania 26, respectively.

In the same interview, Robinson revealed why CM Punk's return at Survivor Series: WarGames 2023 made him so emotional.
