"Do you want to take us on" - NXT Superstar challenges Bayley to a handicap match

Is the Grand Slam women's champion up for the challenge of a handicap match?
Is the Grand Slam women's champion up for the challenge of a handicap match?

When Bayley is medically cleared, she might need to make a pitstop in NXT 2.0 to slap some people around.

The Grand Slam women's champion has utilized social media to entertain herself and remain in the minds of the WWE Universe while she's recovering from her knee injury.

During an exchange with Cora Jade and Indi Hartwell on Twitter, Jade proposed that the former NXT Women's Champion make a return to the brand she helped put on the map and wrestle them in a handicap match, tweeting out:

"Bayley do you want to take us on in a 2 on one handicap match? *Microphone emoji* speak now or forever hold your peace," Cora Jade tweeted.

Bayley calls Cora Jade a "little idiot"

For those curious as to how we got to this point, the "Ding Dong! Hello" host tweeted that she is a "free agent" right now. This presumably means that she's not tied to a WWE brand at the moment, not that her contract is up.

This prompted Indi Hartwell to tweet her the NXT 2.0 logo, which got a heartfelt response from the former NXT Women's Champion. Cora Jade then chose to get involved by sending a simple "Hi".

This was met with a reaction a lot harsher than what Hartwell received a day earlier:

"@CoraJadeWWE Don't even get me started on you, ya little idiot. Emphasis on the LITTLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Bayley tweeted.

While we don't expect the two-time SmackDown Women's Champion to show up on NXT 2.0 anytime soon, it would certainly get more eyes on a brand that could really use it right now.

What do you make of Cora Jade's challenge? Would you like to see her and Indi Hartwell step into the ring with the decorated WWE Superstar? Let us know your thoughts by sounding off in the comments section below.
