There are some stars who are not eligible to be drafted.

There has been a major update concerning the statuses of Tamina and Omos with WWE after it was revealed that neither star is eligible for this year's draft. The WWE Draft 2024 will begin during tonight's episode of SmackDown at the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Omos is not eligible to be drafted, despite being an active superstar in the company. The Nigerian Giant has been dominating WWE live events while being off television. Tamina has not competed in a match since her loss to Michin on the February 27, 2023 taping of Main Event.

According to Fightful Select, both superstars are still with the company despite not being listed as wrestlers eligible for the WWE Draft. The report from Fightful noted that neither name is listed in the draft and that they both are still under contract with the promotion.

Teddy Long on what Omos needs to do to be successful in WWE

Hall of Famer Teddy Long recently discussed Omos' career and what he needed to do to change his fate with the promotion.

Speaking on an episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Wrestling Time Machine show last year, the legend suggested Omos needed a more rugged appearance. Long noted that the Nigerian Giant should focus on looking more serious to look the part and not smile like he does presently.

"I have to kind of disagree with you with the eyes, you know what I mean. I think that is your observation with the eyes, you know, about the eyes. Ain't nobody watching that. You know they're looking at him and I think with Omos with the size, you know what I mean, that explains it right there. So, I don't think it's so much him giving you that eye stare down, I think him just looking rugged and maybe not smiling, you know, never see a smile there. Just keep that same stone cold face, you know, and that explains exactly just how tough you are," said Long. [From 05:00 - 05:30]

Omos returned to television on the SmackDown before WrestleMania to compete in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal Match. Bronson Reed emerged victorious and is now going after Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn on RAW.
