Triple H reportedly has "big plans" for current WWE faction 

Following the WWE Draft 2023, it has been reported that the company's head of creative, Triple H, sees big things for the newly reformed faction, The Way.

Consisting of Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae, Indi Hartwell, and Dexter Lumis. the group was previously part of WWE's third brand, NXT. They were active between December 2020 and December 2021. Since most of its original members are now part of the red brand, the group reunited on this week's RAW.

WRKD Wrestling has reported that WWE's higher-ups have significant plans for The Way on RAW.

One former member of the faction who is now performing as a singles star on SmackDown is Austin Theory. He is the current United States Champion and might not join his NXT stablemates on the main roster.

Triple H has praised a current WWE Superstar

This past weekend at Backlash in Puerto Rico, Zelina Vega put on a remarkable performance against Rhea Ripley during their SmackDown Women's Championship match.

Despite not winning the belt, Vega, who is of Puerto Rican descent, thanked fans on social media after her match. She also revealed that Triple H had some kind words for her backstage.

"This weekend.. my life changed forever. I’m so honored.. so grateful, and feel incredibly blessed to have had the support I had last night.. from the fans, my beautiful family, my heroes, to my coworkers.. to finally hearing HHH say, “I’m so proud of you.” …and he was talking to me this time 🥲 I’m crying even typing this," wrote Zelina Vega in the caption of her Instagram post.

Besides Vega vs. Ripley, there were many other standout matches on the Backlash card. Cody Rhodes bested Brock Lesnar, and Bad Bunny won against Damian Priest at the event, making it one of the most memorable iterations of the show in quite some time.
