The rivalry for the biggest prize in sports entertainment, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, features Roman Reigns and the phenomenal one, AJ Styles. AJ made his WWE debut earlier this year at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view in the Royal Rumble match for the Championship. He has had his focus on the Championship gold ever since then.
The Champion, Roman Reigns defeated AJ Styles for the Championship at WWE Payback amidst various interferences. This time, the two will collide again for the championship in an Extreme Rules match at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view this Sunday.
Within a few weeks of WrestleMania 32, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson made their WWE debut and targeted the former WWE Tag team Champions, The Usos. Known as The Club, they sided themselves with their friend since their tenure in NJPW, AJ Styles. Sensing a possible 3 on 1 situation against the Champion, the Usos aligned with their cousin, Roman Reigns and hence starting the feud between The Club and The Family.
The WWE Universe have witnessed the two groups taking each other out in multiple occasions, in the past month. The match between AJ and Roman for the Championship is supposed to be the last match between the two for the gold, as of now.
AJ is rumored to be involved in a storyline including The Club after the match at Extreme Rules.
