Dwayne Douglas Johnson, popularly known as The Rock, has been nominated for “Favourite Male Buttkicker” for the 2013 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
The Rock is competing for the title with his role in Journey 2: The Mysterious Island against Andrew Garfield for his role in Spider-Man, Robert Downey Jr. for The Avengers and Chris Hemsworth for The Avengers.
In Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, directed by Brad Peyton, the story revolves around Sean Anderson (Josh Hutcherson) who partners with his mom’s husband, Hank Anderson – Parsons (The Rock) on a mission to find his grandfather, who is thought to be missing on a mythical island.
