Mick Foley has been discussing about CM Punk, his exit from WWE and all. Foley said that he knew that Punk was frustrated for some time now, and that his exit is not surprising.
Foley added that Punk was not universally liked within the WWE and he was not at the best of terms with people within the industry. Foley then commented on how he disagrees with some of the stuff that the WWE had booked Punk in. He further added that Punk had previously told Foley, “Once I’m done, I’m done.”
Foley shared his plans of talking to Punk and advising him to return to the WWE, while suggesting that he would love to see a Punk vs. Triple H match at the WrestleMania XXX. Foley hopes that Punk comes back and give us some classic matches to cherish, before his contract expires.
