What happened after WWE RAW went off the air (September 9, 2013)

CM Punk ( Right) in action against Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel

As noted earlier, CM Punk made his way to the ring and attacked Curtis Axel and Paul Heyman during the latter’s ‘medical check up’ on RAW. Punk was unable to land any shots with the ‘kendo’ stick on Heyman, so he took out his frustration on Heyman’s physician.

After RAW went off the air, Paul Heyman and Curtis Axel made their way to the ring. Punk immediately came out with the kendo stick in hand and hit Heyman a couple times. Heyman ran up the ramp and headed for cover. Punk then proceeded to fight his scheduled match with Axel.

Punk hit the trademark GTS and pinned the Intercontinental Champion for the win. He then went on to hit Axel with the chair much to the crowd’s delight, as the show ended.
