Seth Rollins vs Brock Lesnar shockingly became the opening to the show of shows as Paul Heyman seemingly teased the fact that his client had somewhere else to be.
Of course, Rollins was up for a fight and seemingly didn't have a problem with coming out early and being the match that opened the show. The Kingslayer showed off fantastic graphics ahead of the match before he made his way to the ring.
Lesnar didn't wait for Rollins to get to the ring and attacked him as he made his way down the ramp before throwing him into the led apron and then the barricade. The match hadn't been made official since the bell didn't actually ring as Lesnar continued to throw Seth around the outside of the ring.
The fight finally made its way into the ring and the referee checked on Rollins but Lesnar threw The Beast Slayer back out of the ring. Rollins was thrown over the announce table on the outside once again but this time he took out the German announcer.
The Beast laughing as the wounds on Rollins back started to show, and Rollins rolled into the ring once again. The bell officially rang and Lesnar took the fight to The Architect in the corner before delivering the first German Suplex of the match.
Another German Suplex landed on Rollins and he looked to deliver an F5, which gave Rollins the opening for a low blow. The crowd erupted as Rollins took the fight to The Beast with a Curb Stomp.
A second Curb Stomp was delivered to Brock Lesnar, followed by a third before Rollins went into the cover and lifted the Universal Championship for the first time in his career.
