The Rock has always been insistent on motivating his fans to better themselves. The Rock recently released The Rock Clock app on his birthday as a gift to fans as a part of his ongoing ‘Project Rock’.
The app is designed to get fans to strive to achieve their goals by waking up to and get their candy a**es to wherever they need to be, be it hitting the gym, getting up for an early shift at work or whatever they need to get done.
The app is available for both android and the iPhone. With that aside, here are 5 things you need to know about The Rock Clock.
5: What is The Rock Clock?
In the words of the great one, The Rock Clock helps users ‘get up and get after it, no excuses’.
The app is designed to wake up users and motivate them to chase their dreams. Wake up to motivational quotes from The Rock amongst other alarm tracks as you work toward achieving your goals.
The Rock Clock isn’t just a fancy alarm clock with cool graphics, it also records the progress users have made during their journey towards their goals.
4: Wake up with The Rock
The Rock Clock has an option to sync your phone with The Rock’s phone so your alarm time gets set at the same time as The Great One’s so that you can wake up with The Rock. Why would you ever need this function? I don’t know but it certainly a cool function.
Also, the songs in the alarm tones that have a voice ticklingly similar to Dwayne Johnson singing, are actually Dwayne Johnson singing!
3: No Snooze button
The word ‘snooze’ isn’t in The Rock’s vocabulary and therefore there’s obviously no snooze button in The Rock Clock. Wake up to the voice of The Rock singing to you and if that isn’t enough to wake you up, in the words of The Rock, it doesn’t matter that you’re still sleepy.
2: Totally free
The Rock Clock has NO in-app purchase options available. All the contents are completely free to users. As part of Project Rock there’s a line of fitness gear and other items that you can buy, but The Rock Clock app is completely free.
As The Rock explained, “We’ve spent over a year engineering this app for you. Our goal was to create a free, direct, uncomplicated, cool, motivating app to help us all get after our goals and chase greatness.. and always have fun along the way.”
1: Personalized video shout out from The Rock
Users of The Rock Clock can also get a motivational video from The Rock as part of the app. The users can use the social media aspect of the app by sharing their goals with hashtags such as #ProjectRock on social media and The Rock himself will follow and reply to some of the users to help motivate them toward their goals.
In the words of The Rock, “I’ll be shouting you guys out personally via video messages on this app, so let’s chase our greatness, get after it and have fun along the way.”
