– The WWE has had a lot of family dynasties and second and third generation Superstars in the company. The well-known families such as the Anoa’i family and the Hart dynasty have produced superstars over the years.
On such family who people may not entirely know of is the Laurinaitis clan. John Laurinaitis was a wrestler along with his brother Marcus and won several tag teams in FCW. He acted as a General Manager of RAW and currently is the senior vice president of talent operations.
A surprising fact may be that Road Warrior Animal is the brother of John Laurinaitis. Animal, whose real name is Joe Laurinaitis was a successful tag team performer in promotions such as NWA, WCW and the WWE.
The Laurinaitis legacy might be continued in the near future in the WWE. Joe’s son, James Laurinaitis is a well-known footballer and a linebacker for the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams cut several players including James Laurinaitis recently.
This could possibly mean that James could sign for the WWE in the near future. The football star was rumoured to be close to signing a deal in 2011 and WWE will certainly be interested in acquiing his services.
