WWE held a live Event at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York city yesterday that saw a huge return and a couple of solid matches. Here the results from the event:
* In the first match of the night, Dolph Ziggler defeated The Miz with a superkick
* Kalisto defeated Rusev and retained his US Championship. Before the match, Lana cut a good heel promo by dissing the NY Knicks
* After the match Ryback came out and attacked Kalisto on the ramp and Sin Cara made the save. Ryback took to the mic and delivered an oft-repeated ‘big guy vs small guy’ promo.
* Ryback defeated Sin Cara with a Shellshock
* Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch defeated Naomi and Tamina Snuka of team BAD. Naomi tapped out to the Bank Statement
* Erick Rowan and Bray Wyatt were defeated by Kane and Big Show in a tag team contest. Wyatt tried to attack after the match but got hit by a double chokeslam from Kane and Show.
* WWE Divas Champion Charlotte defeated Natalya in a non-title match. “Charlotte sucks” chants were a norm throughout the match. As usual, Ric Flair distracted Natalya but got slapped, that lead Charlotte rolling her up for the win
* Jonathan Coachman made a surprise appearance and said Shane McMahon invited him to be here to be a special guest ring announcer. Coachman called out his favorite tag team, The Dudley Boyz, and asked them why there were no tables anymore. To save Jonathan from the Dudleys, The Usos came out.
* The New Day retained over The Usos and The Dudley Boyz in a Triple Threat match for the Tag team Championship. After the match, Jonathan came in and revealed a “Booty O’s Cereal” t-shirt under his shirt. He celebrated with the tag champions.
* Kevin Owens defeated AJ Styles with a pop-up match. After the match, AJ disturbed Owens’s celebration. KO went after him but Styles came out on top with a kick to the head. After the segment, AJ cut a promo and thanked all the fans at the event for making his Garden debut special.
* In the main event, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose defeated Sheamus and WWE World Heavyweight ChampionTriple H. Reigns pinned Sheamus after delivereing a spear to get the win for his team. Roman and Dean celebrated and that was all from Madison Square Garden.
