What's the story?

Survivor Series is going to be a knock-down-drag-out fight in many respects. Not only will Team Raw and Team SmackDown battle for supremacy in the men and women's department, but The Shield will finally get their hands on The New Day.

You can follow Sportskeeda's live updates and coverage of Survivor Series 2017 right here.

Before the final SmackDown Live, before Survivor Series went off the air, the Raw roster invaded in a big way. This Raw retribution was spearheaded by The Shield and thanks to this candid fan footage, we can see how it all went down before the WWE Universe ever knew they were in the building.

In case you didn't know...

Before The Shield emerged on SmackDown Live it was serious business. The Hounds Of Justice lined up and had their game faces on. It was just another day at the office for Rollins, Reigns, and Ambrose but it was a special night for the fans in Charlotte, North Carolina they will never forget.

The heart of the matter

Thanks to this candid fan footage we can not only see how The Shield prepared for their historic Raw retribution on SmackDown Live, but we can also see how many security guards it takes to keep the fans at bay from three of WWE's top babyfaces.

There was little they could do to keep the crowd away as The Hounds Of Justice made their way down to the ring. But while in the concourse, Rollins, Reigns, and Ambrose had plenty of beefy security guards around to keep them safe and hidden as possible.

The security guards also served a dual purpose to quiet the excited fans down who were able to catch a glimpse of The Shield before their surprise entrance. But once they stepped through the curtain, it was game time.

What's next?

It's only a matter of time before this Shield reunion is over. After all, nothing gold can stay and Roman Reigns needs to be able to fight his eventual battle against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 34 alone.

Author's take

This is one of the cooler videos I've seen in a while. Thanks to Brian The Guppie for sending this one along. He really is worth a follow on Twitter if you're a fan of pro wrestling because he scrounges up some pretty epic stuff.

The Hounds Of Justice are back and they're not slowing down one bit. This kind of rare video is almost certain to become more of a frequent occurrence as technology advances and we're really lucky some brave fans had the wherewithal to hit record on their cell phones and show no fear in the face of WWE's fierce-looking security.
