WWE News: Ember Moon and No Way Jose called up to main roster on the RAW After Mania

Em
Ember Moon made her second main roster appearance on Raw tonight!

What’s the story?

Well, it didn't take long for the first main roster call-up on the RAW After Mania.

New RAW Women's Champion was set to face Alexa Bliss and Mickie James in tag team action when she announced her tag team partner to be Ember Moon!

We then saw No Way Jose compete in a two-minute match against enhancement talent in his main roster debut.

In case you didn’t know…

Ember Moon had a fierce rivalry in NXT with dominant Superstar Asuka, who was undefeated until last night.

Ember Moon is a former NXT Women's Champion, having lost the belt to Shayna Baszler at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans this weekend, and she made her main roster debut in the first ever Women's Royal Rumble.

Moon was injured in the Royal Rumble from the previous night's TakeOver, but she shocked the world by hitting a one-armed Eclipse in an incredible performance to introduce her to the more casual members of the WWE Universe.

No Way Jose, meanwhile, is an NXT stalwart with an incredible character - but easily falls into the "Elias" category of being more suited to the main roster than NXT.

The heart of the matter

Ember Moon had an incredible showing in her Raw debut, getting a huge pop when Nia Jax announced Moon as her tag team partner, as you can see below.

Her showing in the match was equally as incredible as when she took the tag from Nia Jax before hitting the Eclipse on Alexa Bliss for the win.

No Way Jose then made his debut against enhancement talent John Skyler. Both the entrance and outro were each longer than the match.

What’s next?

There's loads of time for more NXT debuts yet, but Ember Moon is a crowd pleaser - and with an emphatic victory over Alexa Bliss, her future looks incredibly bright!

Jose also looks like being a great addition to the main roster, and the crowd certainly got behind him.

Author’s take

Well, I love this call-up! I'm a massive Ember Moon fan and, while the women's division is already stacked, I'm never going to complain at a talent like Ember coming up to the main roster.

The former NXT Women's Champion a unique character with plenty of charisma and in-ring prowess, and I'm sure she'll fit right in on RAW!

I'm sure No Way Jose will do very well on the main roster. He is a great in-ring talent with a brilliant character and catchy tune. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out.
