WWE News: Fans treated to a tag team match after Raw went off the air

Chris Jericho competed after Raw went off the air this week...

The Superstar Shakeup is set to alter the landscape of the WWE. We saw a total of 11 WWE Superstars move from SmackDown to Raw on April 10, 2017.

One of the major acquisitions for Raw was Dean Ambrose. He took on United States Champion Kevin Owens in a champion vs. champion main event to end the show. After Ambrose had defeated Owens with the Dirty Deeds, Chris Jericho appeared and proceeded to deliver a Codebreaker to the battered United States Champion.

Once Raw went off the air, Samoa Joe came down and attacked Jericho. Seth Rollins then came out to set up a tag match, where Y2J and The Architect teamed up to take on the heels.

As is the case with most dark matches, the “good guys” won to send the crowd home happy. Rollins hit his jumping knee on Joe to get the pinfall.

Twitter user @UnderhookDDT posted some pictures from the dark match. You can view those below:

All four guys seem to have a role for WWE Payback, the next pay per view on April 30th. Many expect that we'll see Joe vs. Rollins, and a rematch for the United States Championship between Jericho and Kevin Owens is already set in stone.
