WWE News: Kane says retirement is not a near possibility

Kane holds the distinction of being one of WWE’s oldest employees

In a recent interview on the “Like Father, Like Son” podcast. WWE legend Kane, who has been with the company for over two decades, stated that hanging up his boots is the last thing on his mind – reports allwrestlingnews.com.

When asked whether he considered retirement, Kane said: “Not really. It’s still fun. I have a lot of fun now with the younger guys and just being in the position that I’m in, as more of a mentor at times.”

The 49-year-old also confessed that he counts himself lucky for not having a lengthy track record with injuries, which is something he feels energizes his body even more. While noting that his body isn’t in the same shape it was when he was 25, Kane stated that he never felt better and is still capable of doing the things that catapulted him to fame in WWE.

Kane also remarked that he was fortunate to perform at the highest possible level of wrestling against peers half his age, while also cheekily noting that his younger colleagues still have to put in some work to keep up with him.

Kane, whose real name is Glenn Thomas Jacobs, has won an astonishing 18 titles during his time with WWE, and is rightly considered as one of the company’s stalwarts.
