WWE News: Triple H injury update

Is Triple H ready to go?

What’s the story?

While we don't see him a lot, Triple H has been out of action since tearing his right pectoral muscle at WWE Crown Jewel, an injury that meant The Game had to go under the knife, but that didn't stop him from finishing the match - albeit with one functioning arm.

Today, Triple H shed some light on his recovery time a media conference call for NXT TakeOver.

In case you didn’t know…

At WWE Crown Jewel, 14-time WWE Champion Triple H suffered a torn right pectoral muscle while teaming with Shawn Michaels in a dream match against The Undertaker and Kane at WWE Crown Jewel, finishing the match with a Pedigree that couldn't have helped with the severity of the tear.

Triple H immediately underwent surgery after he was flown back to the United States and has been out of action since the event in November.

The heart of the matter

In a conference call today for the upcoming NXT TakeOver, Triple H was asked about his recovery.

According to PWInsider.com, Triple H responded that he's doing good, adding that he just got cleared to train again, and that the rehab is over. The Game said he was excited, but that he's sore right now from training, which started a week ago.

What’s next?

Well, you'd have to think WrestleMania! If The Game is finished rehab and training now, there's every chance he'll be dusting off his boots and taping up his wrists again for a huge match on The Grandest Stage Of Them All - but who will it be against? After SmackDown 1000, you wouldn't bet against a showdown with Batista...
