WWE’s run in with the injury bug looks to be not over. After terrifying the main roster, the bug has now latched on to the NXT roster. Two more NXT Talents were injured during Live Events. It is also to be noted that recently another NXT Talent was flown out for treatment from the arena.
In a Live Event held in Orlando, Aliyah was reported to be “knocked loopy” after Nia Jax slammed her into the turnbuckles in a tag match. The match was also reported to be one of the sloppiest matches in women’s wrestling for some time. Aliyah was reported to have landed bad on the turnbuckles and was said to be out for the rest of the match.
Similarly, the Live Event held in Tulsa was a bloody mess. In a women’s match between NXT Champion Asuka and Alexa Bliss, the champion left the challenger in a bloody mess. The match was immediately called off by the referee as he checked Alexa Bliss. Alexa Bliss was reported to be dripping a lot of blood.
On a side note, No Way Jose knocked one of Murphy’s tooth off during a match between them. Murphy tweeted the below in reply.
