On tonight’s Raw, Rusev took on one half of the Lucha Dragons member, Sin Cara, as his Extreme Rules opponent and other half of Lucha Dragons, Kalisto looked on. Towards the end of the match. Kalisto kicked Rusev behind referee’s back and allowed his partner Sin Cara to pick up a victory over the Bulgarian Brute.
An angry Rusev was reported to be fuming about it. He interrupted the filming along with his fiance Lana and complained about Kalisto’s involvement in the match. He also said that there is a conspiracy in work against him and accused the referees for conspiring against him. He also stated that this is the era of stupid referees.

Rusev is set to take on Kalisto for the United State Championship at Extreme Rules pay-per-view. Rusev won the #1 contenders spot after winning an over the top rope battle royal by eliminating Zack Ryder, one of the fan favorites. Earlier, Rusev has claimed that the US Championship is his and he will take it back at Extreme Rules PPV. He also stated that he will even rename it as Rusev’s title instead of United States Title.
Rusev is looking more dominant than one has seen in recent times. With Lana by his side, we can expect to see the Bulgarian Brute to capture the title at Extreme Rules with ease.
