In this ongoing viewership war between WWE NXT and AEW Dynamite, the Black and Gold brand has reportedly picked up another point. According to Wrestlinginc, NXT has toppled All Elite Wrestling's show for the second week in a row by drawing 810,000 viewers compared to the 663,000 of Dynamite.

Wednesday Night Wars

Unlike previous weeks, the ratings for NXT and Dynamite were delayed this time due to Thanksgiving and hence, revealed earlier today.

The post-Survivor Series NXT already had a lot of hype surrounding it owing to the Black-and-Gold brand's triumphant victory at the pay-per-view and the result has been reflected in the viewership numbers for the show. In the Cable Top 150, NXT ranked #19 for the 18-49 demographic. Although Dynamite got the #15 spot on that list, the show's overall rank was #38 in viewership numbers while NXT earned the #29 place.

The figures indicate that last week's episode of AEW Dynamite attracted the lowest audience since its debut on TNT, with the previous low being 789,000 viewers on October 30, 2019.

On the other hand, Dynamite also had a viewership depreciation of around 26% as the last show drew 893,000 people. For NXT, the numbers have fallen 11.6% from the go-home show for WWE Survivor Series.

With two points in their side, NXT is getting back to AEW in this viewership war. Hopefully, the Black-and-Gold brand will continue this momentum on this week's episode as well.
