What’s the story?

Ring of Honor’s newest signee Tenille Dashwood aka Emma recently spoke with Scott Fishman of TV Insider and during the interview, the former WWE Superstar also revealed the advice she apparently received from another former WWE superstar Cody Rhodes, whose journey in Pro Wrestling business is pretty similar to that of Dashwood’s.

In case you didn’t know…

After being released from her WWE contract in October of 2017, Tenille Dashwood made her debut for top American promotion Ring of Honor in 2018 at Honor Reigns Supreme and eventually became a part of the Women of Honor division.

The former two-time ECCW Women’s Champion also recently competed in the first-ever Women of Honor Championship tournament, where she was unfortunately eliminated in the semi-final stage after losing to eventual winner and first ever WOH Champion Sumie Sakai.

The heart of the matter

While conversing with Scott Fishman, Tenille Dashwood revealed that following her departure from the WWE, her fellow ROH colleague, and former ROH World Champion Cody Rhodes offered her some kind words of advice.

According to Dashwood, ‘The American Nightmare’ Cody apparently advised her to enjoy every opportunity that came along her way and to make sure that she took advantage of every single opportunity that she is been currently offered as part an illustrious Pro Wrestling industry. (H/T: SEScoops)

“We talked about how to go about things and make sure I enjoy it and taking advantage of the opportunities I have now. Just to do the things I haven’t been able to do in years. With WWE you don’t always get to do things the way you like to do them, so now he said to remember that I’m in control and can do things my way. To be doing things for a reason and to wrestle around the world. And not to do it for job, but to do it because you love and enjoy it and travel and meet people and wrestle. It was to remember all that.”

What’s next?

Tenille Dashwood is currently slated to be in action at the upcoming ROH: Honor United tour of the United Kingdom, where the 29-year-old Aussie superstar will be facing off against the very talented Kelly Klein in a one-on-one match.

Author’s Take

Tenille Dashwood is currently been on an absolute high as part of the Women of Honor Division and personally, I also hope to see her win the WOH Championship at some point down the line.
