WWE Rumours: John Cena to move to the blue brand?

WWE recently announced that the brand split will come into effect from July 19. Ever since WWE announced the brand split, speculations have been sprouting about which superstar will go to which brand and who will head the show. Though there has been no clear cut confirmations on this, we can expect thigs to get settled soon.

One of the touted reasons for the brand split is that the blue brand was not doing well on the USA network. Apparently, even the new era has not made the blue brand important. With the brand split WWE is looking to make the blue brand as equal as possible to Raw. This includes providing equal importance to the blue brand and the main brand.

The brand split have left WWE superstars in a confused state. WWE is reportedly undecided about who will be going to which brand yet - except for one name. Cagesideseats reports that John Cena, the franchise player of WWE, will be possibly moved to the blue brand to strengthen it up. John Cena has been the proven draw for WWE for the past decade and it looks like the officials are counting on him again to revive the blue brand.
