After Dean Ambrose walked away with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Battleground, RAW had to do something about a championship for it’s roster. Stephanie McMahon and Mike Foley came up with the idea of WWE Universal Championship!

Finn Balor and Roman Reigns emerged victorious in 2 different fatal four-way matches and faced each other for the chance to face Seth Rollins for the new Championship belt. Finn Balor emerged victorious over Reigns and took one step closer to becoming the first ever WWE Universal Champion.

The battle for the WWE Univeral Championship is set to take place between Seth Rollins and Finn Balor at SummerSlam. Ever since the announcement of this, the fans have been wondering what the belt might look like.

There were a few rumors that the belt would look like the old Winged Eagle – one with an eagle design – while many others reported several other possible designs. Finally, on Monday, the reliable Reddit user dvizzle (aka “Da Belt Guy”) revealed information about the design of the new WWE Universal Championship.

He has reported that the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Belt and the WWE Universal Championship belt are going to look very similar. The only difference is going to be the color of the swoosh on the belt. Universal Championship will be having a RED Swoosh while the World Heavyweight Championship would have a BLUE Swoosh.
