Stellar Blade is finally here. This highly anticipated action adventure seems very promising so far. In our review of Stellar Blade, we shared how immaculately the game balances its focus on combat and story. The title has also done phenomenally well in its visuals department and offers crisp graphics as well as immersive effects.

But these effects can take a heavy toll on the hardware. While the PlayStation 5 is one of the strongest gaming consoles out there, it has its limits. That’s why, to help you get the most immersive and smooth gameplay experience in this title, this article will offer the best PS5 controller settings.

The settings summary:

  • Adaptive triggers: OFF
  • Vibration: 0
  • Ranged Aim Correction: 10
  • Automatic lock-on: ON

While the PS5 controller's haptic feedback is very immersive in most games, when it comes to Stellar Blade’s lightning-fast action, it can be a little offputting, especially when you're emptying the magazine of your gun. This weapon is very powerful and fires heavy rounds at an extremely high fire rate.

But shooting for long durations straight can affect your fingers and the gameplay experience. This is due to the high vibration produced by the recoil of each shot. To avoid this, we recommend lowering the Vibration setting to as low as possible. You can also turn off the adaptive triggers for the same reason.

Stellar Blade is heavily inspired by the Devil May Cry series. Just like DMC, locking onto enemies plays a big role in its combat system. While there is a manual option for locking, we highly recommend using the automatic lock-on. With this option on, Eve will lock onto enemies while fighting.

The last setting you should consider adjusting is the Ranged Aim Correction. While you can most definitely aim your gun manually, considering the flowy and high-mobility combat in Stellar Blade, doing so can be a bit tricky. As such, it is recommended you keep the Aim assist high. Key Mapping should be adjusted completely based on your preferences.
