Kenneth Shane Pickett is an NFL quarterback for the Cleveland Browns as of March 2025. Kenny Pickett was originally drafted by the Steelers in 2022 and was traded to the Eagles in 2024, two seasons later. Pickett played for the Steelers (2022–2023), and the Eagles (2024), and joined the Browns in 2025. By the end of the 2024 NFL regular season, Pickett had 15 touchdowns, 14 interceptions, 4,765 passing yards, and a passer rating of 79.3, according to Pro Football Reference.

Pickett is a native of Ocean Township, New Jersey, was born on June 6, 1998, and attended Ocean Township High School. He played his collegiate career at the University of Pittsburgh as a three-star prospect and won several awards and first-team honors. Overall from 2017-2021, he had a record of 32-17 as a quarterback and has completed 1,045 passes and 1,674 carries for 12,303 passing yards and 81 touchdowns, according to Sports Reference. In 2021, he won the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award and was named a First-team All-American. He also received multiple ACC awards, including ACC Player of the Year, ACC Offensive Player of the Year, and ACC Athlete of the Year in 2022. Additionally, he was selected to the First-team All-ACC in 2021.

According to the NFL's official website, Kenny Pickett was the 20th overall pick in the first round by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2022 NFL Draft. Following the 2022 NFL Draft, Pickett signed a four-year rookie contract with the Steelers that same year, valued at $14,067,905, according to Spotrac. The contract included a $7,411,204 signing bonus, $14,067,905 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $3,516,976, as per Spotrac.

On March 16, 2024, after the Steelers signed Russell Wilson in free agency, Kenny Pickett was traded to the Eagles in exchange for draft picks in 2024's third and fourth rounds and 2025's seventh round. On March 12, 2025, the Eagles again traded Pickett to the Browns for a 2025 fifth-round pick and QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson.
