Gunther was recently spotted in an empty stadium right before this week's episode of Monday Night RAW. Fans immediately made hilarious comments about this looking like an AEW arena.

The Ring General faced Jey Uso tonight in the semi-finals of the King of the Ring tournament and he cut a promo for his opponent. He gave credit to Jey for becoming one of the most popular stars in the business but claimed that what was important was what happens when the bell rings. He made the bold claim that he would end up as the King of the Ring.

Seeing as the entire promo was done in the empty arena before the show, some fans jokingly brought up how this looked like it was taken from an AEW show. This was a recurring joke due to their recent low attendance in comparison to WWE shows.

Many fans joked about Gunther being the latest addition to the AEW roster. One even hilariously mentioned how he had instantly just opened up the forbidden door.

"He just opened up the forbidden door to AEW!" a fan commented.
"Gunther has arrived in AEW!" one fan joked.

Others hopped on the joke as well, with one mocking AEW's tagline "where the best wrestle." Another fan even joked about the WWE Superstar being on the hard cam side of the arena, and there were members of the audience on the other.

"New game changer" another claimed.
"Now it truly is where the best wrestle," one fan mocked AEW
"Relax it’s the hard cam there’s medium amount of people on the other side," another hilariously mentioned.

Jey Uso also sent a message to Gunther before their match

Jey Uso also had some words for the former Intercontinental Champion before their bout tonight on RAW.

This was posted as an Instagram reel on WWE's official Instagram handle, from last week, as Uso claimed that he would take down Gunther, and become the new King of the Ring. Although Jey has not taken down The Ring General ever in his career one-on-one, he could have a chance to do so tonight, with a lot being on the line.

"Just like next week, The Ring General Gunther Yeet Down. And then, I'mma get a new crown, where it's gonna go down, where I become the new King of the Ring, Yeet," he said.

With both men looking to pick up momentum now after suffering some recent disappointing losses, it remains to be seen who gets the upper hand.
