Bol Manute Bol is a professional basketball player who plays as a center / power forward in the NBA for the Phoenix Suns. He is gifted with a 7’3” height, 7’8” wingspan and 9’7” standing reach, which puts him among the five tallest active NBA players, as of January 2024.

Born to a former NBA legend, a two-time block leader and one of the tallest NBA players, Manute Bol, Bol Bol belongs to the Dinka tribe from Africa, who are known for being tall.

The consensus five-star recruit played high school basketball for Blue Valley Northwest, Bishop Miege, Mater Dei and Findlay Prep. He led Bishop Miege to the Kansas Class 4A Division I state title and received class 4A-I first-team honors for his performance. He was ranked one of the top players of the 2018 class and received McDonald’s All-American Honors.

He played collegiate basketball for Oregon, where he played nine games at 29.8 minutes per game. Starting all games, he averaged 21 points, 9.6 rebounds, 2.7 blocks and 1.0 assists per game. After one season of college basketball, he was picked for the 2019 NBA Draft.

He was the 44th overall pick by the Miami Heat in the second round of the 2019 NBA Draft. He was later traded to the Denver Nuggets for a second round pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, acquired from the Philadelphia 76ers. Bol Bol was under a two-way contract with the Denver Nuggets and split time with an NBA G-League team, the Windy City Bulls. He joined the Orlando Magic after his contract with the Denver Nuggets expired in 2022. He has been playing for the Phoenix Suns since July, 18, 2023.

He has played 135 regular season games at 14.2 minutes per game, scoring at an average of 6.1 points, 3.7 rebounds, 0.8 blocks and 0.7 assists per game, as of January 2024. He drew everybody’s attention towards him at the Nike Hoop Summit of 2018, where he scored 20 points, nine rebounds, six assists and five steals against Team World, consisting of international players.
