Derrick Richard White is a basketball player who plays for the Boston Celtics in the NBA as of October 2024. He was born on July 2, 1994, in Parker, Colorado, U.S. He completed high school at Legend High School, where he scored over 1,000 points as a point guard. He started his college basketball career at the University of Colorado from 2012 to 2015. Not only that, but he became the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Tournament MVP for his college performance in 2015.

White was selected 29th overall by the San Antonio Spurs in the 2017 NBA Draft. He played for the Austin Spurs of the NBA G League, winning the NBA G League championship in 2018. He also won the NBA championship with the Boston Celtics in 2024 and was named to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team twice (2023, 2024).
