Anton was born on October 6, 2000, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, United States. Anton went to Gonzaga Preparatory School in Spokane, Washington. He averaged 19 points per game during his second season. Anton was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Greater Spokane League.

In his junior season, he averaged 23 points, 11 rebounds and five assists per game. Anton won a second consecutive 4A state tournament. He was regarded as the Associated Press 4A Player of the Year in his senior year. As a high school senior, Anton averaged 21.6 points and 7.1 rebounds per game.

College Career

On June 21, 2017, he joined the Gonzaga Bulldogs team to play college basketball. On November 5, 2019, Anton played against Alabama State. He scored 7 points, 5 rebounds and four assists in this game. Anton missed the last 14 games of the season due to a shoulder injury.

During the 2021-22 season, Anton scored a career-best 10 rebounds in a match against Pepperdine. He had a total of 105 rebounds at the end of the season. During this season, Anton played in all 32 games.

In his junior season, Anton Watson participated in all 32 games of the season. He recorded a season-high 19 points in a game over Pepperdine. Anton recorded a total of 235 points and 149 rebounds.

In the 2022-23 season, Anton played in all games of the regular season with the Gonzaga Bulldogs. He became the third player in Gonzaga’s history who has appeared in 13 NCAA Tournaments. Anton set a new record by recording a gameplay of a total of 1074 minutes.

Throughout the season, Anton participated in many matches against several teams, including Pepperdine and North Florida. He averaged 11.1 points during his gameplay with Gonzaga in the 2022-23 season.
