Jamal Murray is a Canadian professional basketball player, who was born on February 23, 1997. He plays for the Denver Nuggets in the National Basketball Association (NBA), as of May 2025. He was drafted as the seventh overall pick by the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the 2016 NBA draft. He was named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team in 2017 after winning the Rookie of the Month honor in November 2016.
Murray relished a breakout season in the 2019-20 campaign, playing a crucial role in the Nuggets' deep playoffs run. His best performances came in the 2020 playoffs when he had several 50-point games.
