Trey Jemison is a professional basketball player and a young NBA center who plays for the Birmingham Squadron. Jemison is 6 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 270 pounds and played college basketball for Clemson University and the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and was selected twice on the Conference USA All-Defensive Team and also made it to the Third-team All-Conference USA (2023). In UAB, Jemison helped the team become the sixth-best scoring defense in the NCAA and he led his team in total rebounds (252) and total blocks (52) in the 2021-22 season. He declared for the 2023 NBA Draft but did not get drafted but he did not lose hope and got a two-way contract with the New Orleans Pelicans in 2024.

Jemison’s journey to the NBA has been characterized by his defense and steady performances. He has had moments of glory as he scored 24 points against the Washington Wizards during the 2023-24 season as a part of the Memphis Grizzlies, which was a career-high for him.
