Tyleik Williams is an American college football player who played his senior season of college football with the Ohio State Buckeyes in 2024. Williams started his football career at Unity Reed High School, where he was ranked the No.4 player in the state of Virginia. He was a four-star prospect coming out of high school and the No.160 overall player in the class of 2021. Williams was even selected to participate in the Army All-America Bowl. The four-star defensive tackle from Manassas officially held over 30 scholarship offers from some of the nation’s top programs. Williams started his collegiate football journey with the Ohio State Buckeyes despite offers from Arizona State, Alabama, Duke, Florida State, LSU, North Carolina, South Carolina, USC, and Virginia Tech.

In his freshman season, Williams appeared in 12 games and recorded 16 tackles on the year. The following year, as a sophomore, Williams saw more playing time as he appeared in all 13 games while tallying 21 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and a sack. His breakout campaign in 2023 was when he recorded five total tackles, 10 tackles for loss, and five pass breakups in 13 games for the Buckeyes. The interior defensive lineman from Manassas was expected to enter the 2024 NFL Draft but announced his return in scarlet and gray for the 2024 season as one of the top defensive tackles in college football. Last season, Williams tallied 46 total tackles and 2.5 sacks (via ESPN).
