Emeka Egbuka is a professional football player for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFL. He is a wide receiver and was the 19th overall draft pick. He hails from Steilacoom, Washington, and attended Steilacoom High School. During his high school years, Emeka Egbuka received the Washington Gatorade Player of the Year award. He registered 83 receptions, amassing 1,607 yards for 25 touchdowns. He registered a total of 2,240 all-purpose yards, three touchdowns from punt returns, and four touchdowns from rushing plays.

Emeka Egbuka played the 2024 season for the Ohio State Buckeyes football team. Despite offers from prominent programs such as Oklahoma and Washington, Egbuka opted to join the Ohio State Buckeyes. He joined Ohio State in January 2021, after his senior year was cancelled at Steilacoom due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In his freshman year, Egbuka played in 11 games and received nine passes for 191 yards. He also played in the special teams, returning 20 kickoffs for a total of 580 yards. This performance earned him recognition as an honorable mention in the All-Big Ten Conference.

Emeka Egbuka, as a sophomore in 2022, registered a total of 1,151 receiving yards, 74 receptions, and 10 touchdowns. He was ranked the 15th player in the country with 19 catches of 20-plus yards. Egbuka was a finalist for the 2022 Paul Hornung Award and was ranked third in the Big Ten conference with the most receptions, yards and touchdowns. He earned a spot in the all-Big Ten Second Team.

Emeka Egbuka, as a junior in 2023, graduated with a degree in marketing. He was selected in the all-Big Ten third team by coaches, the OSU Scholar-Athlete, and was also the Academic All-Big Ten honoree. His injury in 2023 kept him out against Purdue, Penn State, and Wisconsin, yet he registered 41 passes for 515 yards and four touchdowns.
