American college football player Jarquez Hunter is a running back for the Auburn Tigers, a team which competes in the Southeastern Conference. He is a senior as of April 2925, according to his roster on the aforementioned university website. Haikinh from Philadelphia, Mississippi, Hunter has graduated from the College of Forestry, Wildlife and Environment in May 2024. He did his graduate study in the College of Liberal Arts and is a member of the National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society. Hunter stands 5-10 ft tall and weighs 209 lbs.

As per a report on the NFL website, Hunter’s 40-yard dash has been recorded at 4.44 seconds in the combine results with a 33.5’’ vertical jump.

The following year, he rushed for 675 yards, 7 TDs. He returned as a starter in the 2023 season and recorded 2,172 career rushing yards, which was 18th at Auburn. In 2024, the senior tailback was honored with first-team All-SEC. After recording 3,371 yards and 25 rush TDs, he was ranked fourth among Auburn career rushers.

Jarquez Hunter attended Coach Patrick Schoolar and the Neshoba Central Rockets high school, as per his roster on the Auburn Tigers website. During his prep days, he became the running back who was also honored as Mississippi Mr. Football. Hunter recorded 1,687 yards rushing with 22 touchdown runs and 2,069 all-purpose yards as a senior. He was also named Class 5A state MVP. Additionally, his name was listed in the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game. 24/7, Rivals, and ESPN ranked him as the top 12 overall prospects in the state.

In addition to playing football, Hunter was a multiple-sport athlete who also lettered in basketball and track.
