Mumbai Indians is struggling to find a reliable opening pair. MI tried Parthiv Patel, Jos Buttler, and even Unmukt Chand. The team still has to settle down with one solid partner with Rohit Sharma.

MI’s captain Rohit Sharma will be key against DD. He will look to score runs upfront and set the game for Mumbai’s middle order. He even features in the highest run-scorers chart. Parthiv Patel will likely make a comeback to the squad. Ambati Rayudu had a forgetful innings in the last game. He will look to move beyond that and be amongst the runs once again.

Mind you, SRH has one of the best bowling attacks of the tournament. Karun Nair and Sanju Samson will look to score some quick runs. These players can also accelerate the score in a matter of moments. A huge plus for Delhi Daredevils.

Sam Billings is in good nick. He will provide much-needed middle order stability. Chris Morris has been indispensable to Delhi Daredevils this season. He has come well with both the bat and the ball. He can take the game away from any team in the final overs. He is consistent with his yorkers in the death overs. To take on MI’s big man Kieron Pollard, Delhi Daredevils has Carlos Brathwaite. He can destroy any bowling line-up. He only made the bench in the game against SRH, though.

Zaheer Khan was rested for the previous game. He will likely make a comeback and will lead the bowling attack with Mohammed Shami. Duminy will likely make the bench for this game.
