Double the chance to hit jackpot now for the fans in New Zealand

Tui, the beer brewery sponsoring the ongoing cricket series between New Zealand and India, is celebrating New Zealand’s ODI series victory by doubling the prize on offer for fans who take a single handed catch in the stands.

At the final match of the series in Wellington, fans will have two chances, as opposed to one in the previous games, to grab a $100,000 one-handed catch.

William Papesch, Tui Marketing Manager, said the Tui Catch a Million promotion had been a revelation for not only cricket fans but the game itself over the summer.

“We’ve already seen two spectacular catches worthy of the $100,000 prize, and ideally we’d like to see a couple more,” he said.

“Tomorrow’s game in Wellington is the last match in the summer series and we’ve decided to give the crowd another shot at catching a $100,000. We’re hope this additional prize entices a few more to attend the game.”

James Wear, GM Commercial and Marketing at New Zealand Cricket says: “The Tui `Catch a Million’ promotion has definitely added an additional element of excitement to cricket over the summer.”

“We’ve seen fans embrace the promotion, and there’s even been a couple of lucky kiwis catch a six and walk away with the $100,000 cash prize, which is fantastic. The Tui Brewery is now looking to invigorate the promotion, taking things up a notch with an additional $100,000 on offer for the final fixture. This is sure to ignite more interest in the final game of the ANZ ODI series.”

Fans can make themselves $100,000 richer if they manage to take a single handed catch in the stands while wearing an orange Tui cricket t-shirt which is given free of cost in limited number at the entry gates. Two fans have managed to win the prize so far with catches in the 2nd and 4th ODI’s both of which were played at Seddon Park in Hamilton.
