Treble winners FC Bayern Munich have launched their new third kit, which the club will wear in its campaign to defend their 2012/13 UEFA Champions League title.
The brand new Champions League kit draws on the colours of European football’s governing body UEFA, linked with elements in FCB’s traditionally proud red.
The striped design in three different shades of blue gives the new kit a fresh and dynamic visual appeal. Naturally, the slogan ‘mia san mia’ is woven into the collar. The shorts and socks making up the full replica kit are also in the same colour combination.
The unorthodox kits design and colour combination has come in for criticism amongst the Bayern Munich faithful, who are against the kit’s blue colour scheme which some say has similarities to archrivals 1860 Munich.
