Burnley salvaged a draw with a late penalty against Manchester United as the clash ended 1-1 in the Premier League at Old Trafford on Saturday, April 27.

Following their 4-2 win over Sheffield United, Erik ten Hag decided to name an unchanged lineup. They still have a long injury list, with the likes of Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw, Raphael Varane, and Marcus Rashford all out of action for the fixture.

An end-to-end first half saw Manchester United dominate initially, with Bruno Fernandes striking the woodwork. However, Burnley finished the half strongly, forcing Andre Onana into some good saves to keep it goalless at the half.

United continued to search for a goal in the game and eventually broke the deadlock through Antony in the 79th minute. The winger jumped on a loose ball and finished calmly to bag his first Premier League goal of the season.

However, the hosts couldn't secure all three points, conceding a late equaliser. After putting up a strong showing all game, Onana had a howler at the back, conceding a penalty. Substitute Zeki Amdouni stepped up and converted confidently from the spot, earning the Clarets a vital point.

Manchester United's difficult season continued as they failed to collect a win against relegation contenders Burnley. Here are five hits and flops from the game:

#5. Hit - Zeki Amdouni

The Burnley attacker came on after 57 minutes for the struggling David Datro Fofana and looked strong leading the line. He pounced on the keeper's error and scored the penalty that earned his side a crucial point. He finished his cameo with three shots (one on target) and two dribbles along with his goal.

#4. Flop - Manchester United conceding penalties

The Red Devils have almost made it a habit of conceding spot kicks this season, especially late in games. Over their past six games, they have conceded five, with four of them coming from winning positions. Notably, late penalties led to Manchester United's loss against Chelsea, heading to extra time against Coventry and today's draw as well.

#3. Hit - Bruno Fernandes

Fernandes was at his creative best in the game and was a constant threat for his side. He finished the game with nine chances created, 13 passes into the final third, and nine accurate long balls.

#2. Flop - Andre Onana

The goalkeeper was heading towards having yet another strong performance until his late blunder cost the side dearly. His poor foul on Amdouni meant Manchester United dropped costly points in their pursuit of a top-four spot.

#1. Hit - Antony

It was a memorable game for the Brazilian who finally opened his Premier League tally for the season. After having a mostly quiet outing, he pounced on a loose ball and showed great composure to finish past the keeper to break the deadlock.
