Bethesda to showcase a new RPG title at E3
According to the studio’s official E3 press conference page, the team is planning to showcase an RPG title for the PlayStation, Xbox and PC platforms
Could Bethesda be planning a Fallout 4 announcement at this year’s E3?. According to the studio’s official E3 press conference page, the team is planning to showcase an RPG title for the PlayStation, Xbox and PC platforms. The page includes a list of game genres which the company will be showcasing at E3 this year, one of which is an RPG title.
This is the first time that Bethesda will be hosting a conference at E3, and with this being the biggest gaming event of the year, Bethesda’s conference is bound to be a huge deal with some major announcement planned. Many are speculating that the announcement will be about a new Fallout game, the last of which was released in 2008. The game was previously developed by Obsidian Entertainment. Bethesda then purchased the licence for the game with the purpose of making a new title.
The studio has not revealed much at this point, so the RPG title to be showcased could be for another one of Bethesda’s games, such as The Elder Scrolls. However, this is rather unlikely, due to the upcoming release of The Elder Scrolls Online for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Fallout fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of a new Fallout title ever since the launch of Fallout 3 back in 2008. Hopefully this year’s E3 has some good news in store for them.
