CD Projekt RED releases new 7-minute long gameplay video of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be releasing on May 19th

Developers CD Projekt RED has released a brand new gameplay video for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Revealed at this year’s PAX East, the video is about seven minutes long and show offs the stunning visuals and gameplay present in the world of the Witcher.

With the game set to launch this May, players will have to wait for quite a while before they can their hands on this amazing looking game. Hopefully there are no more delays.

The Witcher 3 will be the last chapter in the Witcher series and focuses on the story of Geralt of Rivia as he embarks on a personal mission whilst the world order is coming to a change. This time Geralt will have to deal with a dark and otherworldly army know as the Wild Hunt, who on a rampage pillaging and invading the Northern Kingdoms.

The game also introduces a new playable character, a female witcher named Ciri. One of the major characters in the Witcher books, Ciri will also plays a vital role in the final game.

Narrated by CD Projekt RED senior level designer, Peter Gelencser, the video showcases one of the giant explorable regions dubbed No Man’s Land. In this video, the lead protagonist Geralt is attempting to uncover a rumoured ‘phantom’ of the trade route. The ‘phantom’ turns out to be a Wyvern, a two legged dragon-like creature that threatens to destroy a nearby village. It is now Geralt job to stop the monster.
