Update: Well, we do not have good news as there is no sign in improvement of weather at the moment. We are also hearing that the game has been forfeited as the Britania CC players were unable to make it to the ground on time due to circumstances out of their control, which means, Berlin CC will be awarded the two points, courtesy of which, they now move to the top of the Group B table!

UPDATE (17:00 IST, 13:30 local time): Sad news folks, the covers are still on and the rain is persistent. The cut off time is 14:20 local time i.e. 50 minutes from now. We should be able to get in a 5-over contest if play starts by the cut off time. All we can do is keep the wait and hopes on. Stay tuned!

UPDATE (16:30 IST, 13:00 local time): Well the rain seems to have eased off a bit. The umpires will do the ground inspection in 20 minutes. Lets hope that rain stays away going forward and we get to witness some live action.

UPDATE (16:20 IST, 12:50 local time): Unfortunately, rain is pouring down in Dresden at the moment hence the covers are on and the start is delayed by 40 minutes from now. Hopefully the rain should clear by then and the ground is suitable for play fingers crossed. So do join us then (17:00 IST, 13:30 local time)!

On the other hand, Britannia CC are a strong contenders for the championship this time around as well. They had a thumping victory against USGC playing their first match. However, in the second game, Britannia just could cross the line as they lost the match by just 4 runs.

Britannia's bowling would surely like to improve their numbers a bit as their batting so far has been able to fire off but their bowling has been taken apart by their opponents.
