Alrighty! That will be that from us here at Sportskeeda! Hope you enjoyed our coverage and don't forget to tune in tomorrow as we have double headers lined up for you. We have Royal Challengers Bangalore taking on Rajasthan Royals at 3PM IST at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi and at 7PM we have Delhi Capitals face off against Kolkata Knight Riders at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah! Till then, this is me, Pradeep Somashekar and my colleague, Habil Ahmed signing off! Take care, Good night!
Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Chennai Super Kings by 7 runs!

Well, a terrific come back from Chennai Super Kings in the end, so close, yet so far, they lose another one and for Chennai their batting needs to click and click fast as this is their third loss of this IPL in a row and I believe we haven't seen that happen with them ever.

Super Kings didn't get the start that they needed as Watson fell cheaply, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar was ominous with his in swinging deliveries and gets one to chop back onto Watson's stumps, Faf looked to take the attack on and Rayudu looked to stitch a partnership going but both perished in quick succession and Jadhav went later on without causing much damage and they were tottering at 42-4 at one stage.

Dhoni and Jadeja just knocked around the park by picking up singles and didn't take any unnecessary risks during the middle overs to keep up with the asking rate and kept ticking the scoreboard. Rashid Khan was very economical today, was right on the money, Dhoni and Jadeja negotiated his 4 overs as he went for just 12 runs and looked to take on the rest of the bowlers but that was a gamble that Dhoni took.

They needed 63 runs off the final 3 overs and when Bhuvaneshwar Kumar came into bowl the 19th over, he pulled up a strain and had walk off the field, that would've turned out to be disaster for SRH had Khaleel went for a few but he kept it tight.

In the end Warner threw the ball to Samad and he gracefully accepted it and delivered a brilliant over to stop Dhoni from pulling off a heist in the end, Sam Curran joined the party by scoring 15 off just 5 balls smacking couple of SIX'es but that wasn't enough to take his team come closer to the target as they had too much to chase in the end.

What a day for the young Priyam Garg to deliver for the team as he affected a crucial run out of Faf du Plessis, everyone knows how dangerous on his day he can be and with that run out it almost shut the doors for Super Kings but the Dhoni show was oncoming and he just couldn't take his team across the line this time as they fell short of 7 runs in the end.
MS Dhoni at the presentation and he says he wasn't able to middle the ball very well. About the fitness he says, you get exhausted in these dry conditions. He says, they need to get a lot of things right, drop catches and few other things, they seem to make same mistakes over and over again and he's not really happy with the catching today and at this level those catches must be taken and said they'll look to bounce back and come in a better side in the next games.

Rashid Khan at the presentation says, it's good to be back in form and back in business. He always looks to keep it in the channel and that's what these wickets require. He says, the batsman don't go for big shots unless you give them lose deliveries and that's what he tried to avoid today and went economical. Talked about how Samad kept his calm and composed when Warner threw the ball at it and he was smiling then and delivered the win for Sunrisers.

David Warner at the presentation, He had to back Samad as there was no other option and as with his height and how he bowled earlier had to go with him. He thinks that youngsters are taking the responsibility and thinking on their feet and delivering it for the team. He thought 150 or 170 would be a good total in the death and they look to execute the yorkers all the time.

Priyam Garg has been adjudged the Man of the Match!

Priyam Garg at the presentation,
he was feeling really good in the middle and he wasn't thinking too much as the team management backed him after he failed in the last game and he says, he's batted with Abhishek throughout his childhood and it becomes much easier in the middle of an innings.
Sunrisers did well there in the final over, at the start of the over it was looking like Dhoni would pull this one off and the heat of the UAE has to got him, he wasn't fit 100% and he literally had to go at everything and managed to score 20 runs off it and they fell short of 7 runs in the end!
Over 20 | Summary: 5w 2 4 1 1 1 6 Bowler: Abdul Samad 157/5
19.6 Abdul Samad to Sam Curran, SIX! Samad tosses this one up. Curran comes down the track and clubs that well over the bowler's head. The ball flies right into the sightscreen for a big. All a little too late though. SRH go home with the win tonight.
19.5 Abdul Samad to MS Dhoni, full and outside off. Dhoni looks to clobber it but does not connect once again. Gets just the single down to midwicket.
19.4 Abdul Samad to Sam Curran, slightly ahead of a length this time. Curran comes down the track and hits that down to midwicket but only finds the fielder. Single taken.
19.3 Abdul Samad to MS Dhoni, dropped a tad bit short. Dhoni looks to pull that but doesn't get enough on it. Goes down to long on for a single.
19.2 Abdul Samad to MS Dhoni, FOUR! Fullish delivery and Dhoni absolutely whacks that past the bowler for four more runs. That one went like a bullet!
19.1 Abdul Samad to MS Dhoni, tossed up by Samad. Dhoni comes down the track and hits that down the ground to long on for a couple. Dhoni once again feeling the heat and taking time, 21 needed off 5 balls!
19.1 Abdul Samad to MS Dhoni, WIDE! FOUR! Down leg side. Dhoni charges but it's too far down the leg side. Bairstow can't get to it and the ball runs down to fine leg for five wides!
Warner has handed the ball to Abdul Samad, spin to finish! Warner taking a gamble here!
Disaster has struck for Sunrisers, first Bhuvaneshwar Kumar might've pulled a light strain, he attempted to bowl for 3 times and he just couldn't do it, Khaleel comes back to finish it and the first ball disappears for a boundary and another one muscled it to the deep square leg and Dhoni will keep the strike for the final over and they need 28 runs off the final over to pull off an improbable win!
Over 19 | Summary: 1 4 2 2 6 1 Bowler: Khaleel Ahmed 137/5
18.6 Khaleel Ahmed to MS Dhoni, bowled at a good length by Khaleel. Dhoni looks to swing at it but doesn't get too much on it. Single down to Warner at long on. Dhoni retains strike.
18.5 Khaleel Ahmed to MS Dhoni, SIX! Short from Khaleel. Not what SRH need at this point, and he's been duly punished by Dhoni. Pulled away over midwicket for a massive six! MUSCLED!
Now Dhoni looks in discomfort, it's the heat of the UAE that is getting into the players here, physio is running in to take a look. He's fine, we're back!
18.4 Khaleel Ahmed to MS Dhoni, dropped short by Khaleel. Dhoni looks to pull but only gets the top edge. They run a couple to the edge of the circle in the square leg area.
18.3 Khaleel Ahmed to MS Dhoni, fuller this time. Dhoni goes for an almighty swing. Doesn't connect well enough. Gets a couple down to long off.
