This has been Dwijesh and myself (Rishab) as we sign off. Catch your breath after this thrilling contest as we have the second game of the day not too far away from now. Stay tuned and have a great Saturday folks!
Comilla Victorians managing to win this game by two wickets in the end. This chase should not have come this far as the batters made some silly errors to throw wickets away. The Sunrisers did fight well and deserve credit for being in the game till the end though. Their bowlers certainly made the most of whatever they had to play with and the wicket wasn't as easy to bat on as well either. It was the spinners from the Sunrisers who were impressive and kept things tight in the middle.

Probably a few more runs on the board and this could have been a different story for the Sunrisers. All of the Victorians batters struggled to get going or build on whatever little starts they got and will have some thinking to do as far as their batting is concerned. First game and they will be happy to have gotten over the line nonetheless as it is always important to start well.

A low-scoring thriller so to say and this turned out to be a cracker of a contest that had us on the edge of our seats right till the very end. Although, the quality of batting from either side could have been better but it was some entertainment alright. That is all we have from this game then!
Imrul Kayes : Winning is definitely happy for the team. Batting was not up to the mark but it is the first game and every one was shaky. I hope it gets alright in the next games. Nahidul did really well with the ball. Tanvir also bowled well and our bowling line-up is strong. I hope it continues on. Batting is also good and the ball was coming slowly. We need to adjust to the conditions.
Nahidul Islam, MOM: The captain has given us a plan and I stuck to it. The aim was to bowl wicket-to-wicket. The track was slow and it got slightly better with time.
Mosaddek Hossain: Bowlers were spot on and showed how good they are on this wicket. Still some areas we need to focus on. If the wicket is behaving like this you only need to bowl in the good areas. Maybe we were 10-15 runs short.
That is it. Done and dusted and a hard fought victory for the Victorians. Williams fail to be disciplined but this has been some game alright. Low scoring thriller here and the Sunrisers can take heart from the way they have come back after the first innings!
18.5 Kesrick Williams to Tanvir Islam, ANOTHER WIDE AND COMILLA CRAWL TO A WIN! An action-replay of the previous ball as Tanvir holds his nerve in not making contact with the ball
18.5 Kesrick Williams to Tanvir Islam, WIDE! SCORES ARE LEVEL! A back of a length delivery bowled down the leg-side and looses his radar.
Easy for the batters and Williams hasn't been able to create pressure here. 2 runs more needed!
18.4 Kesrick Williams to Mahidul Islam, a length ball bowled on middle and leg, Islam tucks it to square leg for a single
18.3 Kesrick Williams to Tanvir Islam, NO-BALL! What have you done there, Kesrick? They've sent it upstairs though. A full-toss that was dipping on the waist, Islam is taken aback as he blocks it towards short midwicket for a single nonetheless. The third umpire is having a good look at it. Looks a touch too high on first glance and the verdict is....NOT A NO-BALL! Three more to get then!
Williams has to get in full and in the block hole!
18.2 Kesrick Williams to Mahidul Islam, a back of a length delivery bowled outside off, Mahidul cuts it towards backward point for a single. Doing it in singles. Four more!
18.1 Kesrick Williams to Tanvir Islam, a slower one bowled at a length on middle and leg, Tanvir tucks it round the corner for a single. Five more!
Slip in place!
Kesrick Williams [1.0-0-6-0] is back into the attack!
Who will come on to bowl now?
Tight as it can get from Mosaddek Hossain here. Do they look to finish it off with the big hit or take this deeper? Pressure all-round and the batters have just seen Mosaddek off here. 6 runs, twelve deliveries, two wickets!!
